Want To Avoid Alzheimer's ?

Forgetting where you parked your car is different from forgetting what car keys are used for🚗🚙🔑

Alzheimer's disease, the most common form of dementia, is characterized by the accumulation of two types of protein in the brain: tangles (tau) and plaques (amyloid-beta). Eventually, Alzheimer's kills brain cells and takes people's lives.

But just because can’t control aging in your genes, doesn’t mean you can’t do anything about this disease! In fact, here are 3 things you can do right now to improve your chances:

Exercise

Train so there’s optimal blood flow to your brain! This could be something as simple as going for a run to something as intentional as supported handstands done in intervals. Try to get in at least a 30min full body workout 4 times a week.

Diet

Eat a heart-healthy diet with lots of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and low-fat dairy. Limit saturated fat (found in meats and full-fat dairy products), added sugars, carbs, sodium, and alcohol.

Avoid smoking completely

In reality, many of us are prone to risks we didn’t know were risks until they became prevalent. If anyone in your family has suffered from Alzheimer’s then please get regular check ups and follow these steps for a healthy and happy life!
